Vortex Flow Control – Low maintenance drainage flow limiter

The stainless steel Vortex Flow Control is an innovative device designed for the restriction of water flows in sewer systems by using the natural flow of water within the unit and the water height at the inlet level. The Vortex Flow Control is suitable to restrict the flow of waste water in overflow systems, storm water systems, storage systems, combined systems, and rainwater systems to a predetermined maximum flow capacity. The flow control consists of a durable stainless steel AISI 316 housing with no moving parts. 

The Vortex Flow Control is available in two types, Cyclone and Vertical. The vertical type can easily be removed for maintenance.

Vertical Vortex Flow Control

The removable Vertical Vortex Flow Control, series CE/V, consists of a durable, stainless steel AISI 316 casing with no moving parts. At low flow rates, the Vortex Flow Control allows water to flow through unhindered. As the water flow increases the device creates a natural vortex with an air filled core which causes the flow to slow down, without physically altering the size of the opening, which establishes a predetermined maximum deposit. 

Available in several types depending on the situation. 

The Vertical Vortex Flow Control comes with a separate attachment plate for mounting on flat walls allowing the unit to be easily removed for maintenance.
