Floodline® PIR WaterSave is a flow control system with a device fitted to any area with running water such as WCs, showers and kitchens to ensure water is supplied only when needed and therefore reducing water usage and preventing water leaks and water wastage.
As defined by the standards in BREEAM W03, Floodline® PIR WaterSave is an automatic device detecting occupancy or movement in an area to switch water on and turn it off when the presence is removed. It can aid in the accumulation of credits subject to a successful audit by an authorised assessor and is worth one credit under W03.
Floodline® PIR WaterSave comprises a Floodline® control panel and PIR (Passive Infra-Red) sensors which have the combined ability to control solenoid valves, switching the water supply on and off as required through the detection of movement in the monitored area. The system can manage up to three solenoid valves and a further two PIR sensors if required.
