One year on from the devastating floods which hit its home region, a Yorkshire manufacturer, is offering to donate profits from a flood defence project to a local voluntary group.

Britain’s largest manufacturer of specialist in-building water, oil and gas leak detection systems, Andel, will donate products to groups who are part of the ‘Slow The Flow’ movement.

Huddersfield-based Andel, one of the UK’s largest providers of specialist in-building leak detection systems, oil storage maintenance and drainage services has unveiled new livery across its fleet of company vehicles.

It is with great sadness that Andel reports that Ataul Mustafa Nadeem, IT manager, known to all as Nad, died suddenly on 18 June 2020 following a long illness.

Nad was held in high regard and much liked member of the Andel team, he will be very sadly missed by everyone.

Using cutting edge technology, the green tankers more efficiently separate oil from water and therefore reduce waste being sent for disposal, having a positive impact on the environment.

Peter Double has been appointed the managing director of Andel, Britain’s largest manufacturer of specialist in-building water, oil and gas leak detection systems. Double was formerly operations director at the company overseeing operations across all three divisions.

After 27 years’ service, Julie Greenwood is to retire from her position as managing director of Andel, Britain’s largest manufacturer of specialist in-building water, oil and gas leak detection systems.

Huddersfield-based Andel, Britain’s largest manufacturer of specialist in-building water, oil and gas leak detection systems, has received record enquiries for new flood defence products following their launch at September’s FloodExpo in Birmingham, the world’s largest exhibition and conference for flood professionals and property owners.

Andel has today been named as Huddersfield Town’s latest ‘Shooting Star’ award recipient, held in association with Lucas Lee.
